Corvallis Caring Place residents enjoy leisurely meals in a lovely setting with new and old friends alike. Residents receive three nutritious and delicious meals a day with a snack bar that is open around the clock.
Our Dining Services Manager, a chef by training, and highly-trained staff provide excellent cuisine in our beautiful dining room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served restaurant style. A 365-day menu cycle ensures that no one in the community becomes bored or discontented with our meals and fine service. Most meals include fresh fruits and vegetables.
I eat better here than at local restaurants!
Special meals are prepared for those on modified or medical diets ordered by a physician. These meals can include but are not limited to: small frequent meals, no added salt, reduced or no sugar, and simple textural modifications.
A few examples of options that may be offered on the menu:
Breakfast – Oatmeal, Scrambled Eggs, Omelets, Sausage, Gravy & Biscuits, Pancakes, and Pastries.
Lunch (the main meal of the day) – Halibut, Pork Loin, Chicken Curry, Roast Beef, Chicken Dijon, Shepard’s, Pie, Stroganoff, Glazed Ham – always with a side of vegetables, Potatoes, Rice, Pasta and Rolls – with a yummy dessert such as Cakes, Brownies, Pies, Puddings, and Ice Cream Sundaes.
Supper – soup, sandwiches, other light entrees and dessert.

Corvallis Caring Place features 42 comfortable, affordable studio and one-bedroom apartments. Each unit is universally accessible with individual climate control, kitchenette, and an emergency call system. We offer convenience and comfort with personal assistance and support available 24/7.
The gardens are so beautiful. I can see them from my window.
